What Sway bars do you recommend?

What Have you used? how do you like them? Can you notice a difference? Are they worth getting when lowering the car?

I went with LSR sway bars http://www.lsrperformance.com/suspen...vy-camaro.html . And yes huge difference, the car is planted and almost flat in the corners now.

Sway bars make a massive difference in these cars. They're generally the first mod we suggest because they really do make the Camaro so much more fun to drive. By shifting the balance of the car from heavy understeer to much more neutral you can start to get the most out of your Camaro's suspension.

Our Camaro Stage2 package includes both drop springs and sway bars for folks looking for a great first mod! Take a look at before and after our sway bars on the skidpad at Miller Motorsports Park.

I also have the PFADT sways and the rear sway is massive compare to stock. I also did all my bushings and everything else in the suspension exept for lowering the car. It was a whole different car after that. Yes they do make a difference. Does handle better in corners and like they said up in top post, the car does feel more planted to the ground!!!

Sway bars only effect wheel rates when the car is cornering, or one side of the car hits some kind of road irregularity that the other side of the car doesn't. While driving in a straight line a set of or sway bars will have minimal effect on ride quality!

There are only two options in life. Fight or flight. Most people run. Almost all people run. But not us. The difference between us and everyone else is that we run towards the gunfire. And that makes all the difference.

Should you do sways with lowering coils? Sure, but before you do lowering coils you should address the foundational bushes -- Sub-frame and radius bushes. The rear sub-frame bushes on the C5 are NVH friendly at the expense of handling rubber. This leads to movement of the entire IRS assembly and rear end step out / rear end steering. The front radius bushes are NVH freindly fluid damped. The dynamic range of caster change with the OE radius bushes leads to a vague feel in the steering. When you lower you will notice this even more. At Pedders we offer inserts that work with the OE rubber bushes to ban rear end steer / rear and step out and reduce the range in dynamic caster change to improve the on center steering feel.

Follow the ZL1. The new ZL1 has solid 25mm front and 28mm rear bars with improved efficiency through revised geometry. The old style sway bars mounted inboard on the rear lower control arm. The new FE4 and Z rear bars replace the endlink with a droplink and mount outboard new the hubs. This is a HUGE improvement in performance on the street, on the strip or road course because it is a more direct action.

Pedders has developed and released a ZL1 sway bar upgrade. Our front is a solid 27mm adjustable and the rear is the new FE4 / ZL1 outboard mounting with droplinks 32mm. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...ight=zway+barz

if you would like to learn more about the 5th Gen setup from suspension to wheels / tires to brakes to thermal management take a bit of time and read THE Book

Pedders, love mine. That 32mm in the rear makes a huge difference.

Ummm! not entirely correct. From the way my car performs I can tell you that a stock FE4 front bar with a ZL1 FE5 rear bar will be better than say the Eibach swaybar kit.
