1 Year, 25000 miles, still have the permagrin

I've had my car now for a year, and have enjoyed every mile I've driven this car.

I'll be heading down Route 101 and 1 from Seattle to San Diego soon, and may even stop by Las Vegas.

Thanks for all the advice (good and bad) to all of you here on Camaro5. It's helped as an outlet to all the goodness that is owning the 2010 Camaro. Originally, I thought I'd only put 15-16k miles on it this year, but somehow I always found a way to drive a couple of hundred miles for no reason except to enjoy the thrill of this car.

Holy Crap! I know towns and cities are farther apart out here on the west coast and we tend to put more miles down---but WOW. Minus the month and half of flying for work I've managed only 8K in 4 months. I'm impressed! I'm with you on the Permagrin.

WOW!!!

We've had ours for exactly 3 months now and have just over 1500 miles on it. I must admit that I'm a little relucant to drive it a lot this time year what with the sanded roads after a snow shower, all the rain and flooded streets, etc. Maybe I'm just a little too worried about paint chips, I don't know. I don't even take mine to the mall shopping for fear of door dings. Cudos to those of you who actually get out and drive yours in the Northwest winter.

Come to think of it, there are only 2 seasons out here anyway:
  • Winter
  • Road construction
I guess the paint is just doomed.

Here's my take on the paint. I may get chips over time, but that just means that maybe sometime I'll do a repaint of the entire car, perhaps adding some flames or customize the look to set the car apart.

I'd rather enjoy the car and have fun...but that's just me.

Kudos to you sir

You really gotta love how GM really let their design team get creative with this one
