Please do not take any offense - but what does this wing have to do with a Fred Gibb ZL1? Although Fred Gibb was the largest part of the ZL1 program, I think that the usage of the ZL1 name should only be used by GM and reserved for the utmost highest performance Camaro they would ever build again.

Hmm, not quite as bad as the bandwagon makes it sound once it gets rollin...
I also agree that some people will definately be into this. However.... I think that what throws me off is ... for starters from the rear looking @ it.... the way the outer corners point outwards so much it should be angled inwards instead maybe or not angled in or out but just vertical. So as to remove the "peacock" or "fan" shape. From the side... I just don't like that it reminds me of an isosceles triangle... too meaty & too....... symmetrical? I prefer when the angles are thrown off a bit so that either the base parallel to the trunk lid is a more obviously varied length than that of the divergent surface which runs on an angle outwards from the hood. And perhaps more of a bevel to the upper surface. (or maybe even the rear surface?) I really should just draw all this instead of complicating the hell out of my explanation. Anyways just nitpicking to my personal taste, not intending to sound negative. Wish I could fabricate my own idea's cuz I have tonsssss. And nobody to date has yet come up with one that was "THE ONE" for me. |
