Well since poorman didn't start this thread I just thought I will. Sal Alosi the jets conditioning coach was caught putting his knee out and tripping Nolan Carrol while he was running down the sideline.

As a Jet fan that is uncalled for. He could have seriously injured him. I am all for playing rough but to get it from a coach on the sideline come on man.

Still while I don't agree with it, why was carrol running out of bounds on a punt return again? And sal if your going to do that atleast make sure the camera is not on you.

Sal is a d**kcheese regardless. That's poor sportsmanship and on top of that, to be a coach and do that is totally grade school level shenanigans.

Although they probably won't do it, I think he should be fired. Or at least suspended from being on the sidelines for 5 games.

If you watch the video, the Jets double-teamed Carrol and forced him out of bounds and hung with him, obviously trying to make his impact on the play minimal. Until Mr. D**kcheese kneed him.

Agree 100% about sal. but as soon as youare knocked out of bounds you have to get on the field. I believe carrol got flagged already for running down the sideline

So what do you guys think the punishment should be? Personally, a fine for him and the organization. He should also get fired, and losing a draft pick would suffice.

Some might think it's extreme, but it is considered cheating. Plus the risk of hurting a player. Carrol actually has recovered from a broken leg two years ago. The guy is pretty much scum.

He will probably be fined, suspended or fired. Probably fired. The jets won't lose draft picks and they might be fined. It will probably be the same as the broncos and spygate 2. They actually cheated.

Wouldn't be surprised if it's just a fine considering carrol was "cheating" and running out of bounds. Yes I know the jets forced him out but he ran a good couple if yards down the sidelines.

Told you. The league is looking into the jets sideline formation, but several clubs have stated that it's a common practice. Interesting note Alosi is the man who is supposed to police the sidelines and tell the team/staff to get back out of the gunners way.

Don't agree with what Alosi did but no way league will take draft picks. If they do it after this incident then yeah.
