Clean Cut Creations also now has the same mountig piece they used on this year's Indy 500 pace car for $50. I got their clips, but now that they have this I may switch, it just seems more secure. Here are the pics from their site:

Hmmm I havent put my custom bowties on yes and I have the clips from Clean Cut Creations.... but I might have to go with this bracket if I decide weather to put the bow ties on or not.

Thanks for the link. Ordered. Had the clips and the bowtie was once lost and twice fell off. Not good :(
This should do the trick

I installed my bowtie using the OEM parts from the Pace Car. However, in my case, I had to trim 1/16" off of the alignment tabs on both the bowtie "landing pad" and backer plate to allow the whole assembly to move upward. The way it's molded, it can only mount in one place...which was too low, IMO. By trimming, I was able to get the assembly almost exactly centered. Also, be very careful when tightening the bolts...it's very easy to over-tighten them, causing the slats to bend. Enough talking...here are the pics:

This is exactly what I was afraid of. I haven't had this happen yet, but when I first put the clips on, I had one fall off before I could even get the front fascia back on the car! Your story seals it for me, I'm definitely ordering this now.

My heritage grill with the bowtie has been on for 3 weeks so far. So far so good. Im using the clips. What i did was put a groove in the back of the bowtie so when the clip clicks in it locks into the bowtie and cant pull out.
