The XLR-V is a wonderful car. Had the XLR...wanted the V. The car is a show stopper and really rare to see on the road, which you will not get with the Camaro. The hardtop is a wonder to watch as it folds into the trunk. Plus, the added rarity of the V-series would seal the deal for me. Besides, the Camaro is basically a 2/3 seater to anyone over 5' 10", so it is not like you are choosing between a two seater and a 4 seater.

Both are great cars, one is much rarer than the other, and if you have a warranty...then go for the Caddy. DO NOT OWN THE V WITHOUT THE EXTENDED WARRANTY.

0-60 in 4.6 seconds AND 0.94 Gs on the skid pad. About Equal to an SS.

Remember: THE XLR-V is a loaded Corvette underneath - but with a Mag ride suspension, heated and cooled seats, folding hard top...big brakes. The leather wears really well. The leather is everywhere. Decent used certified low mile examples are around if you look hard enough.

Nothing more but a luxury edition of the Corvette. Everyone already knows it's interior was seriously lacking for a 50k car. This cadi looks nice, but it's to angular and has to many jagged edges for me. I like something with a little slicker styling.

"Interior that was seriously lacking for a $50k car...." But, the XLR-V cost $100k new ?

I think the reference was to the Corvette. I have a STS-V. No complaints, awesome interior, same engine/SC as the XLR-V, and room for 5 comfortably. I have not ran against a Camaro, but having drove a SS, I would say the power is about equal. The downfall of a STS-V or XLR-V is that few companies have go fast parts for them. The ones that do charge a fortune. I know that in the 4 years they made the STS-V, they made less than 4500 of them. I am excited to get the CAI I ordered. It will get me above the 500 hp mark.

I was making reference to how boring and plain looking the base Corvette/Grandsport/z06/Zr1 interior is for it's price! The Corvette has ridiculous performance for price but check out every review, in comparison to the competition it's interior is seriously lacking. It's just bare. Take a look at the Corvette entire line up, get inside of them, from a base Corvette to the ZR1, on the inside, no one would be able to tell the difference aside from the ZR1 or Z06 stitching that may come on the seats. There is nothing beyond that to distinguish each car from the next. And that's what I don't like.

If I bought a Corvette, it would be for performance first, not luxury or exquisite comfortability. That's why I said, you buy one of THOSE Cadillacs; they have the luxury the Corvette doesn't. Although they ring in at around 100k, that's what you have to pay for performance/luxury.

I wouldn't because I'm a simple man, I don't need all of that, and I can get that level of comfort much cheaper through mods rather than outright buy a 100k car. Don't lash out against me......

If you don't want to see yourself at every stoplight, buy the XLR-V.
