Buy 2010 or 2011 SS?

Should I wait til the '11 comes out? I really don't want to be paying 1000's more because they jacked up the price of the new model..

Does anyone think it will cost much more? I'm thinking of getting a 1 or 2SS

Are you wanting to buy one today as opposed to waiting for the 2011 model?

I HIGHLY doubt the price will go up thousands...

Just get what you want when you want it!! These cars are well worth it.

If I were you I'd wait until GM's at least announced the new features & price for the 2011.

True, that's what I was thinking. I want to save a bit by getting the 1SS but I can't believe they don't offer the usb port at least as an option! Hopefully they will include more options available for the 1SS.

Don't you think the gauges should be standard on the 1SS?

That would make sense, but someone at Chevy obviously thinks this is just a luxury and not something beneficial to the driver.

It is likely that the price will change just because of a new model year?

Depends on how long you plan to keep it. Within 6 years or so, the extra year will make a sizable difference in the resale value (regardless of mileage, build date, etc). After 10 years, its probably a wash.

I've seen it reported that the price increase for 2011 is $200-300.

Hmmmm. Not a huge deal, but still something to keep in mind...

I'm hoping to save at least 10k for down before I order my 2011/2012, but if the price is going to stay on the rise, maybe I should just drop whatever I can before the 2011 model year is over...

I'm in a similar boat as I plan on ordering early April and hope for a late May early June delivery. I'm going to go '10 I believe as that's the "comeback" year and I can drive it 1-2 months earlier than a '11 .
