LLT Fuel issues

I've been doing a lot of reading threads regarding the LLT's ability to deliver fuel. I've read that the LFX can flow 10% more? So obviously the lfx would be more optimal for boost applications.. but I know a lot of us are LLT's. I'm looking in the long run of buying all of these bolt ons and eventually I want a TT kit.. But many threads are telling me that the LLT will be limited by its fuel system. So, I was wondering if we could just upgrade fuel pumps, lines, and injectors so that we could safely run higher boost?

A lot of people are running 6 psi of boost on the LLT. If you want to get higher than that then you may have issues. It is all the High-Pressure Fuel Pump. The injectors can handle quite a bit more than the pump can deliver. If you want to go real big then you will also want to replace the In-Tank pump or put a boost-a-pump on it.

People are trying to solve the issue, so by the time you go FI it may not be a problem. One solution is obviously a higher capacity HPFP. I tried one and we just couldn't get it figured out. Another is to pump fuel into the intake like a port injected motor. That's the route we are trying with the LFX. If our design works then it should work for the LLT as well.

Just be patient, it will most likely get resolved with as many people that have the LLT and are boosting.

We have solutions for all the fuel you could want, just adds $2900 to the price so thats not very practical.

Thanks for the info Gretchen. I was starting to rethink all of my mods and if they were actually worth it.
