Will my drivetrain support gears and cam?

I am looking at around 470RWHP and putting on 4.11 gears. Will everything else relatively handle the extra load?

M6? Race it at the track? If so I'd look into some axles too.

M6 and go to the track very little (once every couple months). Still have stock tires though.

So, eventually if stickies go on, axles only thing really needed?

I believe the car is track ready so there should not be an issue also the regular ss model is holding up very well

known weakpoints:

output shaft if an early model

on high horsepower applications, the differential in the car is known to do a one leg peg.... Jannetty has a fix for this called their "posi mod" which, if i recall correctly, replaces the springs in the differential

axles shafts

driveshaft bolts

aluminum housing flexing too much. Again Jannetty to the rescue with their billet caps

Your car may encounter ALL of these problems, it may encounter NONE of these problems.... it's a case-by-case kind of thing.

Ok, if you avoid wheel hop. Smaller, lighter rear rims and tires help.

Keep the stock bushings and put a bigger OD bolt in the sleeve to prevent shake. You can change these with out removing axles. The housing will drop down a little. Stock bushings absorb vibration and prevent wheel hop, i.e. breakage of axles, drive shaft, rear end. Also quieter with a gear. I really don't see how changing these bushings are going to help launch. Sub- frame bushings and trailing arms are helpful. The pancake type top and bottom sub-frame bushings are pretty easy to install.

Do upgrade front and rear drive shaft bolts to harder bolts and use loctite on them.

So you are saying that putting stiffer differential bushings on a car make wheel hop worse, make gears noisier, and do not help with 60' times?

Does your crack dealer know you smoke and post on forums promptly after?
