can anyone confirm this?

Sorry for posting twice in less than half hour, but you know how it is when your new with the car.

Anyway, after owning the car for about a month now, i find out theres launch control. not sure how to do it, but i looked it up on youtube and found this video. Can anyone confirm if hes doing it correctly, and if im really suppose to drop the clutch?

Yes, you hold the skinny pedal to the floor, the computer holds RPM's at about 4500, and you just dump the clutch while holding the gas. The computer will do the rest. Then don't forget to get 2nd gear..

You don't want to drop the clutch. You want to feather it quickly for a good launch without spinning the tires. Launch control holds the RPMs at the right level with the accelerator to the floor. I believe it also sets up the traction control for more aggressive driving.

Owner's manual might be a good place to start.

Um... I've seen several posts where folks tried launch control and broke some major parts. Good luck.

That's why you still want to feather the clutch some. Clutch dropping can damage a lot of parts, not to metion you still get tire spin. You best accelerantion comes from applying as much power, as quickly as you can without the wheel spin. Notice how much the tach drops down and the engine boggs when they clutch drop it?

Worked for me at the track, although I was able to get better times without it
