To check or not to check
I have a 2011 SS/RS and have read several posts on chipped paint near the spoiler. I took a look yesterday and found a chip, smaller than a pencil lead, at the corner of the spoiler where it meets the trunk. I fixed the chip with a toothpick dipper in touch up paint, but? should I pull the spoiler to see if they is hidden damage. Sounds like a lot of work but maybe woth it?

There's a tsb on this, get the dealer to work it out.

Take it off and Look.... if its tiny fix it yourself I did I wasn't having my dealer apprentice touch it lol

When my car was being re-striped, i noticed this. I won't be sending to the dealer, but I need to know the right washer size and where to get them. Where did you get yours?

dealer repainted mine and spaced spoiler back up.
