Best Air Intake To ADD before My tune

OK so I'm gonna have my car tuned due to having long tube headers. Didn't really want to but I got to get rid of the check engine light. So before I do it I'm gonna add a cold air intake to get the most out of the car. What is the best one out there? Thanks, Dave

RS/SS
Lowered 1 1/2"
Foose Black five spoke 8 1/2" fronts and 10" rears
Heritage grill
Led marker lights
Red and White halos
Led Afterburner tail lights
Blacked out rear
All on a Victory Red car with black Rally stripes and add hockey stripe to it.

I would go with the Vararam tune model. you will see some major gains with that set up.

First of all, That Damn Car is NICE!!!! I went with the ADM and really love it. You will get 10 different answers to your question. I went with the ADM because it was in the middle to upper in the cai test and mostly because it absolutely looked the best to me!!! Great product Andy!!!

These sorts of threads always turn into a poll on what everyone on the forum at the moment has on their car. Give this article from our blog a read. It should provide you with enough information to help you make an educated decision about what is best for your application. If you have any questions feel free to hit me up.

I installed the New Era Model and I really like it and it looks great. The basic straight shot design really cleans up the engine bay. Performance wise I feel a bit more power but when you are increasing hp by only 3.5% I wouldn't expect much of a differance.

If you go with a box behind the headlight type, as mentioned above, get the ADM scoop to go along with whatever one you choose.

We get avg of 15 rwhp stock with NO tune.

For stock WITH a tune you are looking at an avg of about 25-30 rwhp on an LS3 and 30-35 rwhp on an L99. Of course this will vary slightly with the tuner which is why I gave you a range.

Hope this helps out!!
