Leasing a camaro rs???

My heart is with a camaro convertible ss but i'm hearing it won't come out until 2011.

My current car i'm paying 444 dollars a month and its bought...but i'm going to get rid of it.

If leasing the rs is an option it should come in less than the current 400 i'm paying...

my other options involve just buying a mid 90's z28 which would be a little bit cheaper i believe but not by much in 24 months

how viable is something like this? If even possible at all if possible to do a year but i hear the mimium is 24 months so the total cost of the lease will be 7-9 thousand

and is insurance more expensive on a lease? i will definitely need gap insurance

Maybe you can find a bank still doing leasing but I don't think the car manufacturers are doing it anymore.

It has nothing to do with bailouts. Plunging resale values make it too expensive and risky. I'd go with buying a cheap used car, or better yet just hold on to what you have.
