First you'll need a period. And then you'll need a shift key. After that, the search button will show you the way.

well half the fun is it actually being a race. save total pwnage for the ricers. stock for stock, the challengers will give you a run for your money, but some of the easiest bolt-ons would be a full exhaust, an upgraded intake, & computer tune. if you wanna go further, get a cam. that should put you around 500, if you do it right.

i gotta say, he's right. run-on sentences are harder to read & this has been discussed a few times around here

With a full exhaust (long tube headers, high flow cats, catback), intake, and a good tune you'll be looking at 460 - 470hp.

A solid 500hp will require a cam upgrade and supporting mods. I made 95hp with a cam package, full exhaust, and tuning on my 05 M6 GTO.

And I made 38hp with a full exhaust, intake, and tune.

500 HP? From what I've been reading, you could get that with cold air, perf exhaust and a tune. If not, then add the GMPP shorty headers

Best place to find an answer would be to go and find a Corvette forum. They've been playing with the LS3 the longest. But since you're asking us . . . you can

cam it
stroke it
or if you want to take the easy way out . . . nitrous

Does anyone know if its possible to do a lot of 'little things' (ie, nothing internal) and still reach 500?

By my estimates, I’d place those mods more so in the 30 - 40 hp range

484rwhp 440 rwtq

We did another pull after the engine was allowed to cool off and hit 488rwhp. I don't have that graph scanned in yet but I will get it up later.

This indicates that there is some heat related timing control issues just like the first dyno pulls of the original C6 Z06 before a tune.

At any rate, it looks like an easy 500 rwhp or there about with just the tune
Impossible to tell w/o an engine dyno, but that would be about ~530hp or so at the crank. LS* FTW
