Planning out mods

Hey guys, I previously made a post about how I am getting my convertible towards the end of May after graduation and I figured I should start planning out some mods to the car.

I am getting the 2LT, so I do want to get some aftermarket exhaust basically just to make my car louder, I want to get a cold air intake, but I don't know what else. So what other mods would you guys add?

I am also considering the hurst shifter, but I will have to think that one over for awhile.

hurst shifter. But think of this. Add the cost of all of your mods to the 2LT, then go look at the price of a 1SS.

Or just order your car with the factory hurst. But i guess you cant beat the old school style of the white ball.

Don't worry about adding the price of your MODS than comparing them to another model. Hell if we all did that I assure you we would have enough in ours to have bought the Vette or maybe more. I know I would anyway. Be happy with what you got and MOD like crazy, you'll enjoy it.

Go with Corsa with the exhaust. Nothing beats it IMO. That is what I am going with. I can supply you with some info about CAI my fellow Oklahoman. Where do you live in Oklahoma? Are you graduating high school or college?

The 1ss would leave me with none of the options that I want and V8 which I also don't want...

There is ZERO comparison between the 2LT and the 1SS. Why in the world does so many people say why not just go get a 1SS instead as the comparison? It's apples to oranges people. I'm quite sure anyone buying a 2LT has already at least considered the move but, FEW take it. Production numbers prove that. The obvious leap would be to 2SS and now your talking over 7k more.

Hurst shifter is great, for a CAI definitely go with an Injen they seem to produce the best numbers and I agree with the Corsa exhaust I'm trying to save up for all of these as well!!

I dont think most coupe exhausts fit verts. The reinforcments get in the way. I'd wait and see what comes out.

2LT > 1SS if you dont care about the V8.

because the 2LT has a V6 i mean really. Only difference is leather, blue tooth, and convienve package. You would rather have that than performance. And the difference is only a 2 grand. So why buy an 2LT and dump two 2-3 grand into it? But again I buy stuff because performance and that work not by just how they look.
