Most memorable drive in your Camaro

Guess with the snow still falling outside...just curious as to others most memorable drive in their SS....could be the first drive home or a good famous roadway.....or just a road trip

Driving it home from the persons house we bought it from. Had that feeling like you finally got one. Everyone was looking and some taking pictures. What a great day.

Every drive my husband and I took together from the day we picked her up, July 31, 2009, until the day he died, September 22, 2010 . These are now my memories.

I think our most favorite was the laps we took around Texas Speedway. He was gracious enough to ride shotgun...as my cameraman.

Mine was when I took it out of the garage one cold December weekend for a warm up shortly after having the supercharger installed. I got on it for the first time after the install. The road was clean, dry, straight and long. 2nd and 3rd were fine but about half way through 4th gear the rear end broke loose and I was a sideways at 80+ mph enough for the rear wheel to catch gravel. For about half a second (which seemed like an eternity) I thought I might lose it but it whipped back straight as soon as I let off. I was smiling and shaking all the rest of the way home thinking "you dumb SOB"...but it felt like I could have picked up a house! No more 30 degree power runs since then...fear the Pirellis in the cold!!

I guess mine would have to be yestersay we had an atlanta meet and afterward alot of us (about 15-20 of us) left and went to a forum vendors shop (Vengeance Racing) and hung out, but let me tell you that drive from the meet to the shop was awesome to see a whole bunch of camaros going down the road. People were honking smiling and waving at us!! It was pretty cool

Caught in a sudden unexpected snow storm, I now have a better understanding of traction control and ABS. Made it home OK, just!
