Trade in value of '10 2SS/RS - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hey guys, so I wanna get the ZL1 next year and am thinking I might wanna sell my '10 2SS/RS now before it depreciates even more over the next year and get maximum value for it to put towards ZL1. I have a sunroof and OEM 21'' wheels and only 15k miles on it in a year and a half. I would probably rent/lease a complete shitbox over the next year if I thought this would save money.

What do you guys think I could get for my car now? (It was $42k originally after all add ons)

It's worth about $34,850.00 in a private sale. Trade in would be a lot less.

you really think I could get that much now if I put it on ebay or craigslist or something?

How much do you think it would be worth 1 year from now when if I got my ZL1?

If it's under 5k miles on it they'll give you 28k, I went to 3 dealers, all same number *shrug* my car has 2,500 miles on it, loaded out

Google NADA and lookyourself. Thet are holding value really well.....BUT if GM puts incentives on them look out!!

Somewhere around 30-35k depending on if you trade in or sell private. I put in my car for a trade in value and it was 25-30. That being said, my car has less miles but doesnt have 21" wheels or sunroof.

Lately the resale value of these Camaros has gone up.....I haven't seen anything pre-owned for less than $32k. Trade in prolly less though.

really? where? whats the best places to advertise?

I know if I said a year, it will have +10,000 miles on it, more daily pebble scratches, unseen love bug splats, door dings, etc so the value will go down by probably $5k I would think...

I can lease a junk box for $1500 in that time frame until the ZL1, and put that $3.5k toward the ZL1 as I do need that money since I dont wanna take out a loan for this (my current SS is already paid off)

go to autotrader.com and follow the prompts. It will give you pricing for other Camaros in your area.

I sold my camaro about 6 months ago and I got $27,750 for my 2LT/RS camaro in ABM. No sunroof or anything just in perfect condition. It has 8,515 miles on it when i sold it. I had gone to see how much the dealership I purchased from would give me and they had said $23,500. I was like hell no, give me my keys. I got lots of offers using autotrader.com but some people were low balling. In the end my car sold within 5 weeks of listing it on autotrader.com. I had many showings and lots of interest. I highly recommend using autotrader.com to sell your car.

I bought a new ss 3 weeks ago,but I was looking used at 1st.I had seen a IOM SS/RS with 10,000-15,000 miles on it at a dealer for 29,900.I thoughtnthat was pretty low ,compared to what I had seen shopping around.And I live in rip-off new York.
