Hi everyone. I just picked up a 2013 SS with the Ls3 motor. It was a used, yes I said used, vehicle and was garage kept by an older gentlemen for a little over a year and barley made it out of his driveway while owning it. So my question is, with all that sitting time should I change the oil ? And would you consider it still in the "Brake in" period? Thank in advance.

Change it and yes you are still in the break in period.

You might want to consider adding a magnetic drain plug. My 1st oil change was at 36 miles and this is what it collected in 582 miles.

+1 Change it at least once a year if it doesn't get driven that much.

Any time I acquire any used vehicle, I change all the fluids. The only time I would not is if it came from a dealer I trusted that had done that when they took it in already.
