O2 sensors maybe? You've got a custom exhaust and NOS, maybe something wrong there. You must have a custom tune so do some logging with the tuner and check what everything is reporting.

There is a way that you can see your own data logs.

Trifecta had a program that I was able to retrieve and download. This way I can see my data logs. I cannot change any of the settings but at least I can read what is going on.

You are correct, that the LLT does seem to run rich, however, when I watch my LTFT and STFT settings, it is almost always showing that I am not running rich. I can watch them while driving as I have an UltraGuage that shows my readings.

Posted below is some of the charts from that program I mentioned.

The data logs were taken a year ago while at the drag strip.

As for what is going on with yours, that is a good question. Change in fuel? Change in weather? Clean the air cleaner. Check all the hoses and lines. Look over all the obvious first. Might want to even check for exhaust leaks, I found that my mid pipes had loosened up to my headers, and was throwing a code. Drove me nuts for a couple weeks, until I checked the clamps. Tighten them again, all good.

GOOD LUCK.

Well went out to get my datalog tonight. Not good... needless to say the car came home on a roll back. Looks like it might be the latest LLT fatality... hoping for the best, but fearing the worst.

I hope GM takes cares of it. It really seems to be a common problem.

I have a fantastic service manager here in town, so if there is anything they can do he will make it happen.

Well I talked to my guy and he suggested if I want to save some money that I can drop the pan if I want to and see how things look at the bottom end. That way we would at least know what direction it looks like we are going. Sounded like a good idea to me so I went ahead and attempted this. Unfortunately somewhere at GM there is an engineer laughing hysterically at this attempt because one of the oil pan bolts sits directly behind the crank pulley. This crank pulley also requires a special type of puller to take off. Needless to say oil pan is not off. I did however get the oil drained and there is nothing metallic in it at all. It looks just like you would expect oil to look at 3500 from last change.

This tells me that it most likely didn't eat any bearings and the sounds I heard were probably from the top end. Next question I have, has anyone had a catastrophic timing chain failure that would result in pistons hitting valves? I am thinking that would explain why I lost an entire bank of cylinders and explain the noises.
