Slippery when wet

So I'm at a stop light in front of my school and as it went green i pulled a sharp left,....forgot that it was raining. DOH! So I damn near spun out....fishtailed, hydroplaned or whatever it's called. I was out of control for a second there and the windows were rolled down. LOL I just felt everyones eyes on me so I played it off cool like I meant to do that. Lol it was dukes of hazards all over again. Lol and best part is there was another red light right there after that crazy left turn so I had to sit there and wait for it. Oh forgot to mention the guy crossing the street in front of me at the perfect time. He probably soiled his pants just a little bit.

Once the adrenaline kicked in after I pulled off I LMAO over the bridge.

that happened to me friday while i was turning left. the street was dry though i had all saftey features of tc and all. totally almost lost it but recovered well. lucky thing is you recovered but it is such a rush, that sense of uncertainty. now if something would of happened it would have been pure madness.

Exactly! Kinda brought my day up a notch. Weird and unplanned but true.

This is why alot of cars went to front wheel drive. First time I layed the hammer down on my SS without traction control and stabilty control I about ate the gaurd rail . rain or shine sometimes rear wheel drive is unpredictable around corners . fun and hectic at the same time

In Coppell TX, a few of the intersections are paved with brick instead of asphalt. It boggles my mind why, because every time there's even an inkling of rain, the whole area becomes super-slick, and even taking a gentle left turn through the intersection my rear end slides out. It becomes so that I mentally prepare to countersteer each time...give the other cars a show I guess.
