Talking I bought another new Camaro. Of course it has wheels already!

One of the best ways for me to ensure what wheels fit properly on a car, is to own them. I don't just sell wheels, I'm one of the biggest Camaro nuts on the planet.

The '10 Cyber Gray SS I've had since they came out, it was pre-ordered before production began. We picked up the convertible '11 SS last night, it is my wife's new daily driver. Yes, I put wheels on it with only 30 miles on the odometer

Forgestar F14 wheels
Textured black finish
22x9.0 front wheels (normal concave) - Nitto 420S 265/35-22 tires
22x10.5 rear wheels (deep concave) - Nitto 420S 295/30-22 tires

Here are the same wheels on the new convertible:

"let" them? You know me better than that. The car was in inventory, all of them already had it installed. Don't worry, it will be removed and repaired. I'll probably have Corey paint the stripes on ASAP.

When I ordered my CGM car, I specifically told them if they stuck the plate on the nose, I'd tear up the sales agreement. That is how much I hate front plates. Only my diesel truck has a front plate on it. Damn Chevy for using pop-rivets to put on the plate mount! On the Corvette, they simply use double-sided tape.

wow that sucks. That will seriously stop me from buying a car. If they have the plate on it, i'll just order another one. SO annoying. why would they EVER put them on in a state that doesn't require them....seriously...

It is actually a state law in Texas to have the front plate. I'd rather pay the tickets, and consider it a cost of modification. I probably get one no-front-plate ticket per year. Usually costs about $80. Well worth not having a wart on the nose.

Also, the black 22s are temporary. I just hate rolling on stock wheels. I'll be ordering something else in a forged construction, likely a brushed center with chrome lip. The car will get gloss black stripes.
