Hey guys, I was wondering what my options would be on upgrading my Camaro's fog lights to something brighter without having to splice wires and do any modding, I'm looking for something that is more like plug and play. Oh and also I was wanting to uprgrade my Headlights to 8000K if anyone could give me a little info on those in my SS/RS package. Any answers will help thanks..

How do those plasmas do in actual fog, any idea? I like the idea of replacing the bulbs with a longer lasting media. And hell, if it's brighter that's the guy ahead of me's headache

They do great, they are a LOT brighter than the stock ones and on top of that they match the halos.

Many brands have them, but the bulb you want is 5202's... Oracle/Gx etc are some common ones but those are the "pure white"..work well in fog, I have them on mine....it is plug and play no harness or anything needed just a swap.. AAC has best prices I have found from a reputable company....or you can get em' on ebay.

AAC appear to be the original link provided, shows at $119 which (I hope) is for a pair. Anyone know about how long these things last?
Thanks for all the feedback! Tib |

Thanks, trying to determine the difference between the 5202 (pair?) and the P13 (pair for sure)
They look the same, escept the P13W have the option of DRL connector wiring, whatever that is. Tib Ahhh the 5202s are for NON-RS Camaros, going with the P13 version for my 2SS/RS, though still stumped about the DRL Connector... |

p13w = RS (RS do not have a button since they are not fog lights but day time running lights) the DRL connector turns on the DRLs when the parking lights are on

Tiberious....YES you need the P13W's. the connectors are DIFFERENT between the 5202's and the P13w's.....the 5202's connectors are on NON-RS cars.....theP13W's connectors are on cars with th RS option. WHO KNOWS why GM made the wireing harnesses different, but they did.

Cool, thanks again guys, only had the car a couple of weeks and I'm pretty new to this stuff. Looks like the DRLs will be needed as the RS doesn't have a fog lamp button (for reasons that ONLY GM will probably understand)
Thanks!! Tib |

They have roughly a 100,000 hour life span.
