The ATAK exhaust sounds like what you're looking for. Not really sure about headers though.

I was in the same boat as you recently, and the S-type was highly recommended by everyone on here. I just received it and waiting to do the install (maybe this weekend). And do yourself a favor and shop around, be sure to check out marylandspeed.com

Check out youtube and there's a forum list of links to exhaust videos for LOTS of exhaust/header/intake combinations that you can listen to. Search exhaust and you can find it I think.

Hate to sound like a spoil sport, but LOUD does not always = sound good. I like my music also, but at some point it also hurts my ears. Just my old 2 cents (I have axleback S Borla with CAI Inc)

Try Borla S type or ATAK with Hi-flow cats first...stay away from Shorties...if you want sound AND performance gain, go to Long tube headers. However, the hi flows with the ATAK will be pretty damn loud at a much cheaper cost...if you decide you still want to go louder, this will keep you happy and let you save up so you can throw down 1k for headers.

I just ordered the Borla shorty headers 17258. Once installed I will post pix's and results. LT's and a tune are not an option right now. I don't expect any loss in sound or performance, but we will see how much of a gain adding these to Solo's hf cats and mach-xl catbacks.
