Vengeance Racing custom Twin Turbo C6 Z06 build

I posted this over on CorvetteForum and thought you guys might enjoy this as well...

We will be posting dyno results later today... So far we have tuned the waste gates as well as 14.5psi settings.

On the gates making 5.5psi we produced 690rwhp/660rwtq
On 14.5psi on pump gas we produced 913rwhp/834rwtq

Tomorrow we will see what C16 and 20+psi nets ...

We just got all of the parts back from the coater this morning. I figured I would post up some pics for all to see.

The car- C6 Z06 Corvette

Modications:
  • Forged LSX 427 Shortblock
  • TFS 245cc 6 Bolt Cylinder Heads
  • Vengeance Racing Custom Spec Turbo Cam
  • McCleod Twin Disc Clutch
Turbo System:

Turbonectics T66 Turbos
JGS500 Wastegates
JGS TK300 Blow off Valves
TurboWerx Exa Scavenge Pump
Bell Intercooler Core
End Tanks Fabricated by Vengeance Racing
Fuel Injector Connection F IC1000 Fuel Injectors
AMS 1000 Boost Controller with C02
Complete/Custom Fuel System
All Fabrication/Installation by Vengeance Racing

Turbos will be mounted by the bellhousing. We are using C6 manifolds that have been fully ported/coated.

Our last turbo build produced 1008RWHP @5800rpm using smaller turbos and a stock LS7 block. That particular car is currently being upgraded to an RHS block/All Pro Headed Solid roller 434 and we will turn up the boost and make some GOOD power!!!

This combo should easily see 1100RWHP on a conservative tune.

Pics below. More to come as progress continues!!

Do you think that the Z06 can actually handle that kind of power without burning the tires off the wheels? I can't imagine trying to get that thing off the line without a pair of slicks. My guess is that there isn't a huge 0-60 time difference because you can't launch it off the line with any consistency? Yeah? I'm sure the 1/4 comes a lot faster though!
