G2 paint Nighttmare
Well I tried to paint my calipers with G2 black and the results were not as I hoped..On their site they sell and say that a PREVAL sprayer will work with the paint....NOT!! it would not spray and clumped all over my calipers!!! so I quickly grabbed the small brush from the kit and tried to smooth out the clunps and it worked ok but painting with that tiny brush is a PITA! I did get a couple of coats on them and left them to dry till tomm...They did not look all that great but I am hoping that when they dry they will be ok..I would hate to have to tear all the seals and pistons out of them to have them blasted and start over.
Anyone else ave any problems with the G2? my experience was not good at all!!!

Just mask and spray paint with high temp paint. Cake walk. I've always thought the G2 kit was a pain.

If that doesn't work out , try the VHT paint, just did mine, comes in cans. Shot 4 coats of red and 3 coats of clear and they look as good as any powdercoating, The paint cures from the brakes heating up ,so i'm gonna wait about a week before putting on the brembo stickers.

No problems when I applied four coats of G2 paint on my calipers, with the tiny brush.

I didn't have any issues using the G2 paint. I did buy the sprayer, but opted from using it and instead bought some of those paint sponge things from a hobby store. Came out great, in my opinion.
