Insurance estimate?
Hey guys, my first post. I own a 1991 Z28 and plan to own a 5th gen, probably not the first year though.
I was thinking...how much do you guys think insurance will be on the SS model? Any estimates? |

I just called State Farm today, wow... finally props for being in my 30's!
They had the new Camaro in their system, only going up $150 for me. Sweet. $576 every 6 months. The only time I didn't wish I was 18 again. ![]() Should have asked for fun how much the SS would have cost me. Oh well.

just so you guys know...
your premium quotes are based on alot of things, but most of all the millage you declare at the time of your quote. the funny thing is, whatever you tell them you drive (the min is 1500 mi per year) is what they go by... ie i called for my 73 camaro when i lived in michigan, told them i drove around 12k miles annually. 650 bucks a month! (yes i have a less then stellar record). when i moved back to california, i called again to get insurance for cali; told them i dont drive since i work across the street from where i live... and stated the bare min: 100 bucks a month! (full coverage btw, on a 18k 73 camaro; including comprehensive). --- just something to keep in mind, as for the validity of what you tell them; they have no way of ever knowing (unless your one of those people who opts to install a gps tracker by your insurance company to get a 10% discount). |
