Paintless Dent remover

Anyone had any experience with PDR and its outcome. My car has few small (very small) dents on the passenger door. When i rub my hand against the body you can't even feel the dent but in the light you can see the "wave" where someone dinged it.

And just to ramble on... does anyone wish the camaro came with a bumper gaurd along the sides? I for one love the camaro as it is but with all these door dings I sometimes wish GM could have installed a subtle bumper gaurd along the door. However, it just wouldnt look right IMO.

yes, I had a dent about the size of a quarter under the camaro emblem on the front left fender since delivery so when I was at camarofest last year there was a guy there doing dent removal, did mine for 35.00 done in under 10 minutes can't tell where it used to be. Awesome!

My car took $2,600 dollars in damage from hail last year, no fender was spared. Although the hood and front fenders were repainted because of chipped paint the mid section and rear clip had PDR. My Camaro looks just like it did coming out of the factory.

I got a quate from two PDR shops and they were both in the $70-80 dollar range. Would that seem reasonable for a dent smaller than a penny?

EDIT: i just called the dealer i bought my car at and they quoted me as low as $50...

On my 2003 Volvo V40, my daughter slammed the door in the garage that goes to our family room and a push broom fell on the the hood. I was sick the car was brand new. The broom fell right on the raised part of the hood on the edge. I took it to the Volvo dealer they have a paintless dent repair guy come in weekly. He fixed it with no problem. I think in 2003 it cost me $65.

Cool. Yea im hearing anywhere between $50 and $80 depending on the dent size and location. I may swing by the dealer and see if they can take care of them at a good price. For the size and severity of these little dents i have im hoping for $30ish a piece but i may have to dish out a little more...

I can recommend a good dentless paint remover; try some sulfuric acid, it cuts through just 'bout anything. With no dents neither!

Ok to resurface this thread, I just found 2 more dings on the driver and passenger door. I got a quote from an independent shop owner that says he will take out all 5 dents at $100-120. Im going with this route.... However, Id hate to find more dents after i get the PDR done. Are there after marrket door bumper gaurds or strips that can be installed. id rather replace the strips every year or so then having to get PDR to my car.

Something similar to the strip on this camaro:

The dealer will just call in a person that does PDR and they will charge you a bit more than going to an independent shop. The dealer is going to want to make some money out of this as well.

I just got a dent today from an idiot opening his door and slinging it into my back passenger panel by the tail light. It's a tiny dent that chipped the paint. But I'm still mad. I don't have a problem doing the primer, touch up or clear coat. It's the dent I'm worried about.
I saw on youtube these videos about using a hair dryer and compressed air. The thing I'm concerned about is would this still work even though the dent is on top of a body "line"? The other thing is I know the bumper is not metal. Don't know if it would do any thing to the bumper since it's so close to it.
Has any one tried this technique on a dent over a body line?

The PDR in this area does not have shops anymore, at least I could not find one. The local toyota dealer gave me the number of who they used. A few minutes and $40 later 2 dents were removed and I cannot find where they were.
