OEM Manifold Gaskets Long Tube Headers

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Victor-MS195...9406ed&vxp=mtr
$47 from Ebay

Does anyone know if these will work with long tube headers? The ones that came with one my BBK headers seem to be not sealing properly and causing noise from the passenger side. I am just wondering if its recommended to just buy GM gaskets and not use the ones that come with aftermarket headers.

The OEM gaskets are better than most aftermarket gaskets and what most people recommend for aftermarket headers.

Have you tried removing all the things in your glove box? Whenever I move the things in my glove box, the noise goes away.

Yes they will work and are recommended. Don't reuse them.

Thanks I will try that but I think I will still get some oem gaskets anyways.

I reused my oem metal gaskets when I installed my long tube headers and my car had 25000 miles and no problems.
I also reused my stock header bolts too.

I bought new OEM ones...just for peace of mind I suppose. I did have a lot of miles on my originals (roughly 65,xxx) so I figured buying new OEM gaskets would be the best way to go. Sorry...don't know the part number.

Same reason I bought new stuff. Wanted to make sure I could do all I could as I did not want to take it apart in case I had a gasket leak from using the old ones.

Part numbers are listed in my previous post above. ...........

You will have to modify the stock gaskets slightly to work with the BBK headers, but they are the best option.

Best regards,
