Parked in a plaza and a eclipse parks next to me. This is how he parked. Is he scared I will scratch his car? Or showing respect.

I say both.

Perhaps they were in a very big hurry, slung it sideways into the parking spot & you were just very lucky they didn't hit your car.

I think both! Some people do still have respect! And Camaros do have long doors.

so don't those Eclipses. they swing out almost as much as the Camaro. maybe he had a passenger? anyway, sloppy parking. all the more likely someone will clip his left quarter getting in/out.

I'm thinking he/she was probably in a hurry. Do you really think people see out cars and the first thing they think is OH I better respect this car? No.....

Lol your right, whenever I see a nice car I respect it. But I love and admire cars, not everybody does.
