I just bought a new Vert Wednesday. Today while I was at work with the top down, I open the trunk to get something out and I noticed some kind of funny looking cone shaped on one end and threaded on the other end metal object lying there.
Hmmm.
Looked at it for a while then it all of a sudden dawned on me what it was.
It was one of the two metal locating pins for the convertible top that fits into a hole along the top edge of the windshield as you put the top up.
Sure enough there was a locating pin on one side but not the other.
No idea how it could have fallen out unless someone either didn't install the captive nut that holds it, or something.
Stopped at the dealer and the'll fix it come Monday.

Weird.

Will do. I want to do it tomorrow, but the wife wants me to go to Atlanta with her. Does she not understand I just got a new toy?!?!

I saw a IOM vert at Hendrick in Cary when I was down there for work the other day.
