Read and initiate
I ordered my 1ss,(currently has no constraints) on October 20, 2008. I was told there was 17 allocations, and mine was no. 17. To me, that is impressive for the dealership.(Lynn Smith in Burleson.)However, my order is the only 1ss at the dealership. All the other orders are 2ss. Do you think I will get mine last?

Bro no one can answer that except your dealer and posting the same thread twice wont make the answer come quicker

That would make the most sense. All the other orders are V8s, which may stretch out the orders over a wider timeframe since conventional wisdom indicates that there will be more V6s than V8s. Also, the differences between those trims are pretty limited as far as the build is concerned.

So, In one weeks time, this dealer sold 17 cars that were still 4 to 5 months from production?

I dont know why I put 2009. Any ways, this thread and this forum, are here to do many things, one is to attain information. My dealer does not know as half as much as I do. So therefor why would you even post a message that does'nt pertain to my question?

i did have an opinion read what i wrote .....Bro no one can answer that except your dealer....the second part was added because there are alot of threads on here no need to double post threads. People will get to it. I have one out there right now with one response it takes time!

I'm not looking for an answer. There really is no answer, I'm looking for some feedback. Once again, my dealer barely knows what I know about this car.

well thats DEFINATE dealers do suck!! it will be difficult to say. Im gonna say this from my experience I was gonna order a 2SS in the beginning of feb and I was told with a similar scenario as yours that it would be oct /nov. Hope that helps

I can't imagine why a 1SS would move ahead of a 2SS unless something was on constraint. However, before they got to your order current constraints would probably be lifted so in my opinion it is highly doubtful you could move up unless earlier orders cancel.
