Brad Paisley hidden song question - NEED HELP - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Need some help...

I downloaded the new Old Alabama song by Brad Paisley off of iTunes and at the 4:30 mark, he begins singing a new acoustic song. It starts off with something like,

"So the one you loved just left you for another,
and you're down....
Or you lost your job and need a drink,
you look around and start to think,
that no one knows what you've been through...."

...and then it cuts off.

It's 30 seconds of acoustic and sounds like it could be a pretty good song.

Anyone know what this "new" song is?

Any help would be appreciated!

I'm 99% sure it's a teaser for one of the new songs on his new album. R&B/Hip hop does this ALOT.

Quite possible and I had thought of that too. It sounds like an unpublished snippet of "this is country music" but the lyrics are not in that song. Same tones, same melody, could be same but not sure. Either way, could be another great hit.

I heard "Old Alabama" this morning on XM...but I don't think they played that snippet you are referring to. I'm gonna agree with others and say that it may be a teaser.

Yeah, it does sound good! It sounds very much like a line out of "this is country music, and it's true" song.

But, just when they make you think they are going to go into the Mountain Music lyrics, they turn it back into Old Alabama...similar to this song. I hear it...at the 4:30 mark after Old Alabama and get miffed cause I can't hear the rest! AGH!

Regardless of whether it is a new song or just a teaser, no doubt it will be another hit. He is a wicked songwriter/guitarist/performer...

My favorite male country artist BY FAR. His songs are just GOOD...and you are right in all aspects. One of my favoritie songs by him? THEN...the acoustic version.

Possibly look at the CD... I know on one or two of his older albums one track would blend right into the next.... maybe this could be it? I'll have to listen to the song again because I have never noticed it.
