Not fake, those cars were the ZL prior to GM coming out with theirs plus these are MONSTER cars with 700hp and HUGE brakes...

Sorry, I didn't mean fake....I meant reproduction...

I wasn't dissing the the builder....If I was going to get a ZL1, I would want one from GM.....

though it would be interesting to watch a GM ZL1 get dusted by one of these....

Not sure how it's a reproduction when it was announced before the GM ZL1.

They're not.

What I believe he is trying to say is that it's more of a replica/knock off than a true Chevy ZL1. In this case, he would essentially be correct.

However, I'll gladly take one of those ZL cars over the one Chevy will produce, because they are higher HP and honestly..just as nice...

The original ZL1 moniker is from the very limited run (only 69 ever made) first generation Camaro....

Just saying that GM owns the moniker...hence why I say it is a reproduction....but we won't get into that argument It would be like a shop coming out with a Z28 then saying its their idea b/c GM hasn't released a 5th gen yet with that moniker....see my point?

I'm not saying they aren't nice cars (because they are) just isn't my taste.....If I wanted a ZL1 I would buy one from GM......

I was just trying to find a nicer way of saying it without offending anyone...

I'm sure those cars would dust the new ZL1 coming out...but hey...the probably cost over twice as much too

SLP was in Orange County CA for the Barret-Jackson Auction. Looks to be the ZL1's got to leave the tent for a bit

Well, GM never made a 4th Gen Z28....

They were SS's modified by SLP, the same company making these ZL cars...

Nice cars, but I like the looks of the GM ZL1 better.
