ZL1 3.73 gears in a SS
I believe this is possible and I wanted to know if anybody had the part number? I have heard Richmond gears breaking so Id rather go with gears that arent breaking...

ZL1 gears will not fit. Diff is larger. 9.9 inch with cast iron housing I believe. LPE gears are manufactured by American Axle & Manufacturing (AAM). This is who makes the Camaro diff including gears so LPE gears are actually GM OEM quality. Just put LPE 3.93 gears in my SS, but did a lot of other upgrades and don't have it all back together yet.

My GXP came factory with 3.70s. You would think the GM pony car would.
