washing and waxing
I need some advice on washing and waxing.
I washed my baby the other day and noticed some small swirling in the paint and want to know what the rest of you use to wash your cars? product and type of cloth? I have a synthetic shammy and would love to find a real one but haven't had any luck. Jeff Toronto, ON, Canada |

There is a the sub-forum "Cosmetic Maintenance" - lots of information on the subject. I'll flag the moderators to move this posting to this sub-forum.

I use the two bucket wash method, one for soap and the other to rinse off the pad before I put it back into the soap bucket. I use Adam's car shampoo and a sheepskin wash pad.
Probably the single best investment I made was a cheap electric leaf blower. I use it to dry off my vehicles. |

2 Buckets - One holds car wash shampoo and the other has water with a grit guard in it
Adam's Grit Guard Adam's Wash Pad - for top half of the car Adam's Car Wash Shampoo Microfiber wash mitt - for bottom half of the car Foam Gun Electric leaf blower to dry Adam's Waterless Wash Waffle Towels Adam's Detail Spray - This, along with the waffle towels help me with drying It really depends on the method that you take to wash your car. If you are using only one wash mitt to wash your car, you most likely are putting swirls into your car. Junkman's videos will guide you on the correct method. EDIT:
