Slack in transmission?

Hopefully this has been asked before, and answered with a "it's normal"....

L99

Example: I'm driving down a residential street, ....going about 25, there's a one way turn up ahead, so I start to slow, then brake slightly, as I slow down to turning speed, and as the car shifts to 2nd o(r it might be third?), I can feel a slight catch. Now when I speed up to accelerate out of the corner, and the transmission engages, it feels Like it catches again slightly... Almost like I tapped the brakes. I've been able to avoid this by pressing the gas pedal down approximately 1/16 of an inch, then accelerating.

It's not a issue I would think, but maybe I've got a bolt or two coming loose on my driveshaft?

Thanks for viewing

Mine has a tune...but its done this since day one. Even after mentioning it to my salesman at the dealership, she said this is the way all autos are.

My v6 auto did this too. It's normal...but extremely annoying!

Ok... I wonder if there's a way to smooth this jolt out? One piece driveshaft maybe?
