Grille emblem mount, same or different for refresh models?
Hey guys, I just found out that Sparks now makes an SS bowtie replacement emblem for the refresh 5th generation Camaros. If I go that route, then the little side SS emblem would be redundant. Seeing as mine is also a 1LE, I think I might like to put that in its place.
My question is regarding the plastic piece that mounts into the grille that the little emblem attaches to. Is that part the same as the little emblem mount on the 2010-2013 model grilles, or is it different for the 2014-2015 narrower style grilles? The reason I ask, is I have an extra of the 2010-2013 style from when I had a 2011 LS and added an LS emblem to the front. If it is the same part, then I'm all set. If it isn't, then I'll need to purchase one that fits my 2015 grille. Any info on this would be appreciated. I tried searching for this info, but never found anything directly related to this question. |

I would have to think it would be different. You may want to contact you GM parts dealer and have them look into it and worse case you order in one from a 2014-2015 and if it's the same either have them send it back or sell it here on this site. My bet though would be they are different.
