Vector Motorsports in Michigan

Well, where to start this story.........I purchased Vector's stage 2.5 cam kit about a year ago and installed with no issues.Kirk was very helpfull in my cam choice knowing what mods I was doing in the future. I just installed an Edelbrock E-force and was finally able to trailer down and get tuned. Paul and Steve are two of the nicest gear heads you will ever meet. When I arrived I was ill, I mean sick as a dog. 103 temp and the works. I got the car unloaded and Steve was on it right away at my appointment time. I was super dehydrated and asked Paul if there was a vending machine. He said,"sorry no, what do ya need?" Next thing I know, Paul drove to the store I picked me up some Gatorade!! C'mon now THATS customer service!!! After about 3 hours, a plug change an a couple road test (more gearhead talk) car made 582RWHP and 524RWTQ. I stopped at Mobil on the way down and got a crappy tank of 93 fuel so Steve had a hard time getting any timing in it without spark knock, so numbers were a little low. Still, the moral of the story, If your in Michignan, near Michigan or making a trip here, stop and see the crew at Vector Motorsports, you will NOT be disapointed.

Yeah, those are some stand-up guys. I've had dozens of tweaks to my tune from them. I even put my car on a new local Mustang dyno at Lashway Motorsports & had everything scanned. After looking at the results, even those guys admitted everything looked nearly perfect and they probably wouldn't be able to get more than 3-4 more ponies out of the tune...

On another note, I've had my eye on their cam for a while (still on my wish list). How do you like it? I take it that cam works well w/ the E-force as well, let alone N/A?

ya vector is a very good shop. i went there first to get my tune. 5 mins after i got there they were putting my car on the dyno. and i got to watch the whole process of my dyno tune in action. one thing i like about there shop is they let you watch. i went back a few months later, you get LTs and a tune, the car was done in 2 and a half hours! there prices are great too.

but now i am at livernois. just feel they offer more down the line.
