things just show how big the network is. a few thousand people at each plant are needed to assemble the cars. But there are dozens of assembly plants. Then there are the smaller parts manufactures so for every line worker at the final assembly, there are probably 100 people involved in the manufacturing of parts. The north american auto industry is massive
