Kooks Header and Transmission Tune Question

On July 5th I am having Kooks 1 7/8 long tube headers with kooks high flow cats installed on my L99. When I set this up we did talk about the tune they will do to the motor. I also know they will tune out AFM (Good Riddance) but I asked if there are any other settings that they would change in the transmission. He told me that he was not sure what they did and I should talk to their tuner when I get there. I am asking to find out what else can be done to the transmission with the tune? Can they change the shift points in manual mode and can they adjust the shifts to be stronger? Can they make the shifts stronger when in paddle shift mode? When you are in paddle shift mode and you do take off in first gear, the rev limiter hits very low. Can they move this up so you can use first gear more in paddle shift mode?
If there are other things that can be done with a tune to the transmission please let me know and Thanks in advance for your replies.

Yes, yes, and yes.

You can adjust shift speed, shift rpm, rev limiter, torque management, etc.

But 1st gear is a very steep gear (redlines by about 37 mph or so). You can up the rev limter a little bit, but that's really not going to help much. Remember, the rev limiter is there to protect the motor. Even if you raise the rev limiter a bit (like we've done on my car) you're still going to have the same issue. 1st gear happens really fast and you'll still have problems hitting the rev limiter if your not anticipating the shift.

With a tune you can adjust gear drop down speeds when using the tap shifts. You can also make it so the transmission drops down to 1st gear when you go under 5 mph. That way you'll always be in first when you're stopped or going really slow.

My car down shifts speeds are a lot more aggressive than stock when using the tap shifts. I like it that way so my car is in a lower gear at certain speeds. My car also drops to 1st gear automatically at speeds under 5 mph.
