F14 order - tire dilemma
I seem to be getting conflicting advice, so I figured I'd complicate matters by posting the question and probably getting more conflicting advice.
Going to pick up some F14s - want to go 20x9 and 20x11. Plan is to move the stock rear tires onto the 20x9s. Plan to pick up 2 new tires for the 20x11s. Planned to pick up a set of these (315/35R20): http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/tir...il.do?pc=41896 Have been told this set up will work perfect (and that I can really pick up any 315/35R20 for the rears). That is my current opinion. Have been told by different source that 20x9s with stock tires may rub in front. And have been told by yet a third source that the tires I selected above are made for the BMW X5 and will make my car ride like crap. Point two about rubbing seems just wrong to me given how many people have 20x9s here with the same wheel. But could be wrong. Thinking the set up I have planned would work fine, but can someone help clarify a bit of this for me? Appreciate it! |

Point two clarification...it isn't that they were made for bmw, it was that he thought they were run flat. This version isn't run flat, but would be a different pattern from front pzeros if mounted.

the fronts with 275's will not rub, my don't, and my frontend is dropped..
on the Nitto Invo's the car rides excellent. 315's on the rear..

Won't rub, I have the same setup, 274/315 lowered on Pfadt springs.
