could this be right?

I just got off the phone with GM customer service to check the status of my order, the lady I talked to (Daffiny) put me on hold for about five minutes, came back on and said that I will be able to pick up my car next week tuesday, she said to call my dealer to confirm. then she said if not it will be two weeks after next tuesday. Can this be for real? I mean I hope it is. calling dealer now.

How are you guys getting a hold of GM directly and asking about your orders? I am number 3 of 5 so i don't think i will get mine till June now after reading a few more things on here...if there is a number someone hook me up with it because my dealer is pretty worthless because they seem to be out of the loop greatly.

1800 number

I called the number today to see if I could check on mine. I am number two at the dealership and she also put me on hold for five minutes and came back on and said that all she could tell me was they got the order. Shouldn't they be able to tell me more?

I am sorry but I don't think she understood what you were asking her cuz no way you could be getting your car next week.

BUT if you do get it, good for you. You got it ahead of others and they'll be ranting shortly.

Maybe she meant your car is getting built on tuesday, and you will get it two weeks from then. That would make sense. If thats it, then congrats buddy!!!

When was your original order placed? Just wondering. I place my order 10/27/08. My dealer call on 3/9/09 and told me that my car had been pulled to be built. That only two of the 20 orders were placed. He said they(GM) choose the cars at randon. My order was excepted on 3/10/09. I call GM today, the girl was very nice, but she said all I can tell right now is that yours has been pulled for production and is in line.
