2009 ZR1...

I love the Corvette. It's been my favorite (okay maybe second favorite) car since I was a little kid.

Today I saw for the first time in person the 2009 ZR1. Not in a showroom, or at an auction, or at a car show, but live, in person right next to me, on the pavement...and my God!!!!!!!! If I only have $120,000 laying around somewhere I would snatch one of these up in a heartbeat. Here are a few of the pics I snapped with my blackberry.

To say the absolute least, this car is absolutely intimidating in person. Just flat out mean looking. Good job GM. Keep 'em comin.

The 13th picture

I don't like the gap in the wheel wells, need bigger tires or rims

Seriously, if you have enough money to buy the car, buy yourself some new tires...

Interior was the same as a 3LZ Z06. Nothing special really. But lets be honest...who's buying this for the interior.

Yep, the interior is pretty much the same. Not much differences there...

It's already got 20" in the rear and 19" up front...you would really go bigger than that on a ZR1?!?

Yep, right on the C6.R inspired air intake.

The ZR1 is a sweet and amazing machine, i can't wait to see one in person!
Although, Jetstream Blue Metallic is by far the best colour any Corvette can be seen in!

I haven't gotten to see the hood popped in person, but I just saw that at the KC Auto Show for the third time, and that is one of the sexiest machines ever made.

The truly amazing part of that car is the Carbon Ceramic Brakes

S/C LSx motors have been around for a LONG time, albeit not with the 100,000 mile warranty, but the true step forward towards supercardom are the brakes.
