Or are you counting on your dealer to handle that? I haven't removed it and I really hope that isn't holding up my order.

I had mine taken off as well as adding the ground effects package and some stripes. I didn't order till first part of February so I didn't think it would make much difference in delivery date.

I just placed my order about two weeks ago, so I was already aware of the constraint on the STS and did not include it on my initial order. But you better believe if they ever get their sh!% straight and give us an RPO code, I will be adding it to my order before it is pulled for production. I thought they said this would be figured out "within weeks, not months"?!?!?! Whatever happened to that??? Has anyone heard any news about this at all???

Forgot to mention if you have them take it off make sure nothing else gets removed. Have them send you an updated order sheet so you can check that it's still accurate

I pulled it off the first chance I had. I made sure to be in the dealership, as my RS package mysteriously disappeared...

CamaroScotty is my dealer. As soon as the shifter became an issue, he e-mailed me and explained the situation. I had him remove the hurst shifter and he sent me an update order sheet. No worries.

I ordered last night without it. I may add it later if it becomes avail... I'm hoping the HUD become available before mine gets pulled for production.

my dealer informed me that hurst wasn't available from the factory, but could be ordered separately after the car is in. which is fine... i can wait.

I told my dealer to take it off if need be...and to install it themselves at the dealer if they wanted to prevent delay. No biggie if it takes a while anyway...I ordered CGM....so, I'll be waiting anyway.

I was told that any problems with the initial order will be addressed when the order is up for allocation, like removing the Hurst STS or anything else consrained. Is this wrong???

I told my dealer to take it off he probably didnt. I hope they notify him if they try and pick up my order and the hurst will hold it up so he will just take it off and let it go through....
