LS3 forged crank and rods ?

I wasn't sure where to put this so I figure this is the place. I had read on here in a post (can't remember where) that the LS3 has a forged Crank and Rods. I have a turbo setup on my car and I'm running low PSI to play it safe for now. I figured later down the road I will rebuild the motor with forged internals and Boost away. But if what I've stated is already forged, all I would really need to replace is the Pistons (as far as the rotating assembly is concerned). Give me a little insight on this if you can. It just didn't sound right to me when I read it and I didn't really think too much into it until later. Thanks.

Not.

The only fully forged rotating assembly LS motors are the LS9 and LSX454.

On the LS3, the crank is cast, rods are powdered, pistons are cast .
