Got a call from my dealer today telling me that April 13th was the "magic" day. Also confirmed the "less than 3 weeks for CGM".

My question that I forgot to ask him was... If the CGM constraint was 3 weeks from the last update, then wouldn't it stand to reason that by the time the order is picked up on the 13th that the constraint might be lifted?

He had said that I could figure on the less than 4 weeks + the additional shipping etc. So sometime around the end of May, first week of June.

Does that make any sense? And if it does what do you all think about the timeline.

BTW. He wasn't pushing, but very nicely asked me if I wanted to change the color to get it earlier, I of course said no!!!

Dont sweat it. I am also April 13. production week. Lets just hope there are no hicups.

my dealer called me this afternoon asking if i wanted to change again to make it into the april allocation....its SO tempting to change and get the car sooner...but i held strong and i'm waiting for CGM

hopefully it comes sooner than later

I have waited since the 2006 concept for camaro production.
Now I will wait for the CGM , I'm not opting for a 2nd choice

My order hasn't been pulled yet so I can't say yet that I have had a choice to make. I am torn right now between CGM and ABM, but I suspect if my order was pulled and CGM was still on constraint I would choose the CGM, especially with the fact that it is suppose to be off constraint within 4 weeks. I hope more people drop the CGM for impatience though, that would be alright!

J/K. I love that we are to this point, and the cars are rolling down the line. It is all good!

We're in the same boat... Although, my 1st choice was white and at the time of my order, no one knew for sure if or when it would be available. So I changed my order on my sig date to CGM. Then much to my dismay, it was on constraints

About a month ago my dealer said that the CGM would be on constraints for 4 weeks after production date... Sounds like he might be right on that one. He also said... *SPECULATION ALERT*... that the Hurst had the same timeline!!!
Let's hope he goes 2 for 2!!!

Regardless, I'll gladly wait this one out with you guys.

My order will be pulled on 4/2 and I ordered CGM. Does anyone think that the constraints will be lifted by this date or within the following week or two after 4/2? Need to decide to stay with CGM or choose another color?
