Touch up paint for SS emblem

Hey Everyone -

I recently got a ridiculous rock chip in my newly installed SS Sparks Restoration emblem. Picture is before chip.

Can anyone recommend a touch up paint for the red portion?

Photo sucks - but its the standard Red for the SS emblems but this is a paint vs sticker.

I tried contacting Sparks Restorations but they are MIA.

I maybe wrong but my guess it is Victory Red, which is 74/WA9260. That is what I have been reading on different threads here. I also saw a member say that they used Duplicolor's cardinal red. Me personally I would get a bottle of touch up paint in Victory red and paint the entire surface.

I would like to know if they are in business as well. I would like to have my emblem redone.

I did email them - but another member PM'd me to call them. I'll reach out to them later today (and report back here). That person who reached out did have theirs re-done. I might do a hi-temp clear coat for some additional protection. I havent done the touch-up as was recommended earlier in this thread...but heading out to Autozone during lunch.

Thanks for the info. Please keep me informed. Let me know how the high temp clear works out. I tried to have mine cleared and was told it couldn't be done because they have resin as the colors.

I just grabbed this from Autozone...its 2 in 1 (paint and a clear coat). I am more than likely just going to re-do the entire red section and once fully dry hit it with the clear coat.

Yup, that's exactly what I did to mine when I got it new. Still looks perfect and you can't tell it's cleared.

Thanks. Did you do it yourself or did you have a painter do it? If you did it yourself what products did you use?

I remember I used this stuff cause it was pretty quick drying and had used it in the past to paint my wife's garden gnomes which endure all types of weather here in Toronto and they have lasted a few years lol. Walmart! Sometimes cheap stuff goes a long way lol!
