ZL1 sighting on 09-15-11

black-on-black (with dark red seat inserts) ragtop.local toyota dealer in kingston,MA. is driving it with dealer tags on it.it is supposedly #126 ! don't know who this guy knows, but he had a Ford GT about 6 months before they hit the market, also ! extremely nice looking car,but the real scratch is under the hood, which i was unable to investigate.i don't have a camera phone so you'll just have to take my word for it's existence.exhaust bezels are what first caught my eye, then the ZL1 logos on the wheel caps and fenders.for that king of bread,i'd opt for the Z06 personally !

If I read ragtop, it's not ZL1; they don't make ZL1 in a 'vert.

Is this forum intended to be for the Chevrolet factory ZL1, or for any Camaro that has a ZL1 badge, such as the SLP vehicle, which is a modified SS that has been re-badged as a ZL1?

At times there does appear to be some confusion among some regarding the Chevrolet factory ZL1 and other "ZL1s."

I had to tell a friend around here the other day that the "rich" guy he knows was NOT getting a GM ZL1 this week, if anything he was getting an SLP modded SS - ZL1.

I say it's too confusing for the casual reader to have SLP ZL1s thrown in with factory ZL1s. They are completely different creatures. Not to take anything away from the SLP guys, but the two should should not be intermingled here, IMO.

There is no 'SLP ZL1 #126', they are only making 69 of them. There are others in their ZL line up though
