Are they out there?
So, I found out through social network that some dealers may indeed already have their cars (not pre-orders). Specifically, I have seen a picture of a yellow one being unloaded off the truck in British Columbia (supposedly on 3/19). So, have they begun shipping already and it somehow went unnoticed or was this a special case? I'm getting the picture..will upload in a minute.

It is rumored that a few dealers got their V6 demo car already, but I don't believe any of the pre-orders have shipped yet.

Hard to tell from the picture whether this is a pre-production car, pre-order or what. Tell whoever took the picture to get a picture of the VIN if you can. That would tell us a lot.

No.
There are no cars that 'belong' to dealers shipped. Even Rick Hendrick's Camaro is still in Oshawa. We will begin shipping cars (called "Ship to Commerce") this week God willin' and the creek don't rise..... There HAVE been Camaros delivered to dealers - but they are Property of General Motors Corporation and will be used for various events and activities. |

It's pre production or else it would have the white plastic bumper guards and the rubber door guard on it.

I had someone come into my store the other day while I was on this forum looking at the pics of the different colors. They said hey they have one of those up at the dealer I just seen them unload it. I said no I highly doubt that, they would have called me, or at least I would have hoped they would have. So ofcourse I got on the phone and called up there. I talked to my norm sales guy. He said no they didn't and didn't know where they would have gotten that from but they did just get in a used black mustang.
 How could someone confuse a stang for a camaro? |

That car was # 248 and will be at the Pacific International Auto Show. It was used to train salespersons at a number of locations.
