1LE strut question

So I have a BMR rear sway bar coming already. I have lowering springs on it now but I am not sure I will like how low it is. Haven't taken it off the jack stands yet but it is the Phastek 1.4- 1.5 drop. If I don't like them I am thinking I am going to do a 1LE strut/spring upgrade. Now for the questions
1: are the 1LE struts a lower ride height than the SS, how much?
2: do I need any other upgrades for them to fit, rear lower control arm?? I think the fronts are fine unsure about the rear.
3: will my BMR rear sway bar work with the 1LE rear struts?

I put the 1LE track pack and street upgrade under my 2010 RS/SS. The GM part number is 23123397, it gives you all the details about what you are buying. You will also need GM part number 23484878. If you decide to go this way and you can't find the last part number, I have an extra that's never been opened. Oh, the sway bars in this package are solid, front and rear. As far as ride height I can not determine that it has changed.

I suggest going to the 1LE section where you’ll find all the correct part numbers, especially for a 2011 which requires additional parts over post 2011 cars. That thread is really kept up to date for any revised part numbers.

1. No. It should be the same ride height since the springs are the same as the SS. Springs control ride height. If you use 1LE shocks on a lowered car, you may have durability problems. I remember reading on here about premature shock failure with using stock 1LE shocks on a lowered car.

2. You might need new top mounts with stiffer durometer bushings.

3. They should work. LCAs are only a concern if trying to run a late rear sway bar design with early FE2 style suspension. However, after a certain production date, all cars had the updated LCAs even the base FE2.
